I’m Danny Harrington, a freelance radio presenter, broadcaster, and digital content creator.

I first got involved in radio at the age of fifteen with Hospital Radio Swindon, where I began developing my passion for broadcasting, presenting, and sports reporting. Since then, I’ve gone on to present shows across student, community, and commercial radio while gaining experience in production, sports broadcasting, music programming, and digital media.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a range of broadcasters and media organisations including BBC Radio Gloucestershire, where I presented sports programming, worked on outside broadcasts, and supported live programming as a Broadcast Assistant on the Breakfast and Mid-Morning shows, including traffic and travel updates.

I’ve also completed work placements and freelance projects with organisations including Virgin Radio, TBI Media, and TalkRadio. Following a placement at Virgin Radio, I was invited back to complete an internship working with the station’s Head of Music, gaining experience with music scheduling systems and broadcast operations.

Alongside traditional broadcasting, I also create digital content across YouTube and social media. As a lifelong football fan, I launched The Football Fans Show, producing football discussion, documentary, and explainer content online. In addition to football media, I also run channels focused on business and general entertainment content.

My work combines live broadcasting, storytelling, audience engagement, social media content creation, and digital production across both radio and online platforms.
