About Me
I’m Danny Harrington, a radio presenter, producer and digital content creator with over 15 years on air.
I started in radio at fifteen at Hospital Radio Swindon, went on to earn a degree in Radio Production at Staffordshire University, and spent more than a decade at Swindon 105.5 as a presenter, producer and Head of Music. There I hosted the weekday Drivetime show and Saturday Sport, built relationships with record labels to shape the station’s music policy, and trained vulnerable people to use radio to build their confidence.
I’ve also presented The Home Run, weekday afternoons across Hampshire and Surrey on B Radio, and worked with BBC Radio Gloucestershire as a sports presenter and reporter, on outside broadcasts, and as a Broadcast Assistant on the Breakfast and Mid-Morning shows. Earlier in my career I completed placements with Virgin Radio, TalkRadio and TBI Media, and was invited back to Virgin to work alongside the Head of Music on scheduling and broadcast operations.
Today I produce the parenting podcast Not in Front of The Kids with Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and Nathan Massey for FUBAR Radio, and report for Swindon Supermarine Football Club. As a lifelong football fan, I also present The Football Fans Show, a live phone-in on Twitch, and run DeadAir Media’s YouTube channels covering football, sport and entertainment.
